of Viana do Castelois land of secular agricultural traditions, of parties and pilgrimages that had always livened up this charming region, infusing in the population the habit of the dances and singing them, fact that contributes for the growth and multiplication of this translated cultural seed in a popular expression: the folklore.
Thus in 1985 with intention to give to know the uses and customs of this people, in an integral respect of the most elementary social and cultural principles the Group of Dances is born and sings of Perre, one of the great defenders and promoter of the cultural values of the geographic area that represents.
Since then, with the spirit each renewed day, stopped unfolding in works d inquiry and never has collected, the pair of the shining representations in parties, pilgrimages and festivals of folklore among others convivialities. Its dynamism and quality gained prestige increasing, covering the country , and assured for some times its presence in the foreigner.
