Localization
Perre is a village whose name drift of the proper name "Pierre", that it are a knight destemido in the fight against the mouros, and to who, as it rewards for its heroic steel, to it would have offered these lands.
Francisco Sampaio describes it thus:
"To speak of Perre, it is to speak of lands of great farmers, the best oxen of the slaughter of Passover, that supplied the talhos of Viana (...), of wine harvests tinto that they exceed the three a thousand pipes, of serious people, diligent.... Satiated land of first-born sons and "stewardships", houses, good farmings, of good fields and low brancheses, to mean tulhas and full cellars... "
This pretty village, encircled of mounts and fields, only 5 dista km of its capital of concel - Viana do Castelo. Monumental city, known for the preservation of its traditions, and that it attracts numerous outsiders in searches of its beautiful enchantments.
